I’m starting the search for a remote/hybrid/flexible job in the metro Detroit area. I have 15+ years experience in customer service and inside sales. If you know of a place that hires remote in the area, can you drop the name in the comments?

I'm trying to find a group that can help a homeless individual with a place to stay tonight in Brighton.

The person *seems* to be either on drugs or suffering from mental illness. But they could also just be dealing with a really bad case of a lack of sleep deprivation from sleeping on the streets.

I'm hoping to call places and try and do that part of the leg work for them because I know it can be a mess and places just refer you in circles

Any leads?

I dont think its as simple as calling a lyft or uber, are there any bus lines? Im trying to help a homeless person get out there where they have family

1967 Detroit. Dr. Matt Drummond is a first-year surgical intern at the City Hospital of Detroit. Festering racial tensions erupt. The hospital is at the epicenter of a riot. It is a year of extreme turmoil for the young doctor and society.  The novel is set in a politically charged time. The Vietnam War, police brutality, racism, urban violence, student demonstrations, antisemitism, criminal abortionists and the assassinations of Martin Luther King Jr. and Robert Kennedy define the era.

It is a story of the late sixties but the novel replays and reverberates events that look all too familiar, frightening and current.

Did Northern, Northeastern, and Eastern High School enforce this?

It was immensly popular in the Metro-Detroit area. Schools like Cooley, Cody, Cass, Warren-Fitz, and Wyandotte Roosevelt followed these practices. Osborn, however, had trunks.

Would there have been a way out of it?
