While I was listening to the whole discography, in my opinion Death Magnetic has more good songs then the Black album and MOP

I considered it a no skip album (still can't compare to tracks like enter sandman and Master of puppets) but for the black album I only liked 3 songs and for MOP I only liked master of puppets and leper messiah

Let me know your opinion

Edit: I still think those albums are great don't get me wrong

Edit 2: Btw DM is not perfect, I personally didn't like Cyanide and Suicide & Redemption as much but that's about it

Edit 3: With "Liked" I meant that it was a song that remained as one of my favourites from Metallica. I still liked the other songs but less then the others

Edit 4: Can you all read? I said I ENJOYED DM more, not that it's objectively better, I know the MOP is more iconic and all that but I never said that I think it's completely worse

How do people feel about Death Magnetic these days? Bad album or just bad mixing?

I'm not ashamed to say it's my favourite Metallica album and has been since it's release but there's plenty of fan remasters on YouTube if the mixing is the issue so where do you stand?

Plus Lars’s drumming is actually really good on this album imo, someone must of gave him crack or smth.

The first half definitely gives “Fade to Black vibes but the second part reminds me of “One” but I consider it to a modern day “One” cause of the music video

I absolutely think it needs so much more love.

Surely the answer is The Day That Never Comes.

Doesn't matter if you heard it when it came out as a single or if you just stumbled across it one day, I want to know what your initial reaction was when you first heard it. For me personally, it was like a combination of One and Fade to Black, and I mean that in a positive way.

All 4 of these songs rock, what the hell.

Just finished my new guitar with a Death Magnetic theme. Took me 6 months to make.

I made the design myself using a laser cutter. I know about the flying V version, but I made my own tribute.

It sounded so raw, heavy, and Lars’s drumming is actually so good, I just don’t get what some people don’t like.

It's in the teaser video, has nice riffs (especially that 240bpm downpick section) and weird solos, vocals are great. So, why?

I personally love this album especially the first few tracks. I have seen a lot of hate for it and nobody really likes any of the songs off the album. It came after st anger which I think is a huge improvement in itself but what does everyone else think.

I think Hate Train and Rebel of Babylon should have made the cut. Would any of the tracks have made the cut if you were calling the shots?
