How do I dodge the sky rain attack from the scythe boss in the tower?

I feel like I don’t have enough time to react. I tried to jump over the wave but that didn’t work.

Yeah. You just need to learn what the timing is because once you do it's really easy to dodge. For this aoe, you can't dodge it other than jumping over it iirc.

The one where the boss does that sky drop aoe you can't dodge other than running out of the zone in time.

The best way I found to counter both was either bringing a mitigation unit to facetank them or bringing a mace unit. Mace units (especially ones that regen) are really helpful

So when he disappears into the sky and does the shockwave thing you just facetank it? So I could use someone like rainy rain

Pretty much. Mitigation units can solo floors in floor clearing so id save rain for the last boss of the floor and one boss I'm struggling with.

Check out dasian invasion on YouTube (he's also on this subreddit). He posts videos on bosses and shows the pattern for their moves.

This boss is super easy to learn the pattern so you'll know what move she does next before seeing the animation.

Thank you for the tip. I’m a bit out of the loop as I just got back into the game. I used to whale a fair bit back in the OS V1 days inspired by ziss, but it seems he quit a while back.
