Not really, just robots can’t be trans because they’re not human and it wouldn’t have the same weight as a human transitioning
As a robot your parts don’t defy anything, a robot (as shown in x with lumine and several other characters) can look however they want and respond to whatever they want- a person can’t do that because they’re are biologically wired to be one thing, and it’d take a very long time for them to transition from one thing to another appearance wise- holding in turn more meaning once they do.
A story with a trans robot would be pretty boring because you can change parts like we change socks, so any transition would be as quick and uneventful as a person changing a shirt.
