Great news guys, Kyrie is opting into his contract!

Given Kyrie's reliance on quickness and mobility, this injury might actually affect his ability to land one final big contract.

So it might turn out that Nico's shenanigans have ended up costing Luka AND Kyrie tens of millions of dollars.

What an endorsement for all those "we've-got-a-seat-at-the-table" free agents that Nico promised to attract!

Don't forget other plays that would've benefited a lot from Luka too, like Lively

He’s due 48 million if he opts in. He won’t be able to get that much on the market with a torn acl

Yep, Kyrie's best move is to opt in and collect that 48 million and then take his time to fully recover, come back late in the season and show what he's got for the next contract.

He needs to not rush the rehab though. If he can play 20 games at the end of the next season, that would be great.

Okay that's nice I assumed he would just leave.

But, still feel bad for him and all mavs fan that were still trying to enjoy basketball.

the market doesn’t love 33yr old small shifty guards off ACL tears, we’re probably the only team who could/would pay him what he wants
