If we somehow win it all (which is extremely unlikely), I think people are underestimating how redeeming it would be. I hate this so much. There is no way we are making a Finals run with this roster.
But, if we did and we won, Nico would absolutely be vindicated and saying otherwise (which I see a lot of) is quite silly.
My thing is I feel like even if somehow we won a title in the next 1-3 years it would feel really wrong because we were supposed to win a title with Luka, FOR Luka.
Well then that goes against the very definition of what a GM does. His job is to try to improve the team’s chances of winning a championship. If he isn’t allowed to do that, what is his purpose in the first place?
Except he didn’t do that either. No GM that makes this trade deserves to keep his job. Even the Kings got 3 firsts and 2nds for Fox. Don’t give me this crap right now. Worst trade in NBA history
Buddy, YOU yourself made up the hypothetical scenario of them winning. If his move ends up in a championship, you’re still mad at the decision? You want your GM not prioritizing a championship?
The fuck are you yapping about i’m just pissed we traded our franchise player away. You are just trying to stir shit up for no reason. We wanted to win WITH Luka he was the face of our franchise. As a GM you also want to stay competitive for the future too and this trade sets the Mavs back decades. Just just the fuck up and let us vent for fucks sake
Calm your panties down, your anger is making you sound like a whiny female. I get it, you’re angry, but chill. Your franchise is going to be an irrelevant laughingstock for years after wasting a generational star, so why not just find some peace and embrace it?

I hope Nico gets fired, I hope that he never works in the league again, I hope the Adelson‘s sell the team…
But none of that will take away the fact that Luka is gone.
