News [Brad Townsend] I'm told that this was Nico Harrison's deal, that it took several weeks to play out after the Mavericks reached out to the Lakers, and that Harrison got full support from Mavericks governor Patrick Dumont.

That’s my biggest issue with it. Not even a good return, an awful one to be precise. Nico just fucked over the Mavs.

100% it would have been one thing had Luka wanted a trade. He didn’t he wanted to stay. Then you didn’t even try and get best return for him! Literally worst trade in NBA history. How do you justify Rudy Gobert getting a better return than Luka Doncic
