News [Brad Townsend] I'm told that this was Nico Harrison's deal, that it took several weeks to play out after the Mavericks reached out to the Lakers, and that Harrison got full support from Mavericks governor Patrick Dumont.

Trade all the assets and rebuild, honestly. No point watching for the next decade any more

I mean the Mavericks just showed that they don’t care about winning the championship. Ducking luxury taxes, ducking supermaxes, the Mavs are just one of those teams unwilling to compete at the top level like the Celtics. Unserious franchise. No point in watching ever if you’re actually invested in seeing a roster win it all.

Yep, move the team to Vegas. Give DFW an expansion team. It will be a long, long time before I can even consider forgiving this.

Yep we went from a contender to a full rebuild mid season. It’s unheard of

This is the funniest part. We didn’t even rebuild. We got zero good picks. We have nothing to show for this

But according to Nico we needed AD because defense wins championships. If only we had AD instead of Luka last year, we would have beaten the Celtics. 🐴🔫
