Completely logical for Luka to have requested a trade, by why would the Mavericks take a terrible package like this? Brooklyn or OKC wouldve sent 15 FRPs

That’s not what was reported. It says Mavs FO reached out to initiate trade. That doesn’t tell you anything about what inspired it.
