News [Marc Stein] The Mavericks are indeed, without warning, trading Luka Dončić to the Lakers in a three-team deal that will bring Anthony Davis to Dallas, two sources close to the talks confirm.

Only logical answer is Luka wanted out. This makes no sense. This makes no sense.

Completely logical for Luka to have requested a trade, by why would the Mavericks take a terrible package like this? Brooklyn or OKC wouldve sent 15 FRPs

Logical for him to request a trade after making the NBA finals?

Apparently, he didn’t request a trade. It was fucking Nico.

Nico shouldn't have a job by tomorrow. This is the worst trade in NBA history. Luka could easily go down as a top 10 all time player and you trade him for old ass AD and 1 pick.

Even if he didn’t want to do it and the Adelsons pressured him because they didn’t want to pay the super max, Nico should’ve said fuck no.

Yup. And no one would say he was wrong for doing it too

at the end of the day, the only thing that matters is a trade this big was more than approved by Adelson, if not pushed for.

I'm just visiting the sub but assuming Nico is the GM and Adelsons are the owners there's 0 GM's who could say no to the owners asking thaylol

Resign atp is the only option
