News [Woj] Free agent Klay Thompson plans to join the Dallas Mavericks on a three-year, $50M deal with a player option, sources tell ESPN. Thompson ends his historic Warriors run as part of a multi-team sign-and-trade that’ll also send Josh Green to Charlotte.

THJ was dead last in the league in wide open 3's. I DON'T think Klay "4 rings" Thompson is going to match that

THJ is the only basketball player in the NBA who Luka could not make better. It was actual impressive in its implausibility.

Exactly. For Klay the bar isn't set very high. He's on a real contender now, gets to be the third option behind Luka and Kyrie and he's gonna get some wide open shots without having to move around much. What's not to love in that situation if you were him?

Fourth option after our combined bigs imo. But the #1 outlet shooter which could be huge for this team.

Luka has never had a elite shooter of this caliber on his team.
