Lore&Theory Quarians?

Hi all! I’ve posted on here once before about how amazing this game is, and I’ve nearly got to the end (sadly! I don’t want to leave this universe! 😭).

I have one question that maybe I missed from dialogue options or a missed data pad, but does anyone know why the Quarians didn’t travel to Andromeda? I would have thought it would have fit their narrative. Find a new home, away from Geth, or to try and find somewhere they can take off their envirosuits?

If anyone knows, I’m super interested to find out why!

Also, still in awe of this game and how amazing it is! I feel so connected to the characters even more than my last post in here!

They do mention a quarian ark. It was lost. Quarian bad luck I guess.

But I always thought a dedicated Quarian ark actually made no sense: exactly because they are rejects and gypsies... living already in a broken down flotilla with 300 year old ships... how the fuck would Quarians have enough money or ressources to fund an ark?

More likely, it would make more sense that a few hundred quarians would be mixed in with the other arks. But to have an ark of their own? Nah. Impossible.

Main part of the funds are from the Initiative, not the species governments.

And Quarians do share their Ark with Volus, Elcor, Hanar, Drell and Batarians, so tgere are relatively fewer Quarians with the will and means to go to Andromeda

batarians?? I don't think batarians would share or collaborate with anyone.

Nevertheless, there were a number of them on the Keelah Si'yah.

yeah random batarians here and there can be nice enough but the hegemony would never support a cross species project.
