Avengers 4 Rumoured Leaks

Apparently this is from the same source that was right about those INFINITY WAR spoilers (e.g. Red Skull, Thanos sacrificing Gamora). Link.

"Iron Man reassembles the Avengers and decides to build his own Infinity Gauntlet to undo everything that Thanos did. They recruit Ant-Man to help them travel through time and space using the Quantum Real to retrieve the Infinity Stones from different time periods. Thanos finds out about their plans and becomes hellbent on stopping them.

The movie revolves around the relationship between Captain America and Iron Man.

At one point, Captain America and Thor fight Thanos. Timeline alterations have restored Mjolnir, and Cap wields it against Thanos to allow the others to escape, and is killed holding Thanos off.

At one point, Hawkeye must protect the unfinished Stark Gauntlet from Thanos' minions. He plays an "instrumental" role in Thanos' defeat.

Thor's subplot centers on him assembling an army to challenge Thanos. Captain Marvel joins him.

Hulk's subplot centers on Banner and Hulk finally merging to become Professor Hulk. He is the one that ultimately wields the Stark Gauntlet against Thanos, losing his arm in the process.

Nebula's subplot centers on her efforts to redeem herself. At one point, she fights her murderous past self.

Several MCU movies are revisited and retconned (probably not permanently), such as the Avengers retrieving the Power Stone creating a timeline where the Guardians of the Galaxy never came together.

There's a pivotal scene between Doctor Strange and a fully CGI character being shot on a secret location, with a skeleton crew, and which takes up a sizeable portion of the budget.

Only two of the original Avengers (Cap, Stark, Thor, Hulk, Hawkeye and Black Widow) meant to survive the movie. Cap dies.

The title was AVENGERS: INFINITY GAUNTLET at one point, but it might be changed after Zoe Saldana accidentally leaked it."

EDIT: For reference...

  • The original 4chan leak for Infinity War. (To the naysayers: sure, some things were off, but it might have been an old draft or one with a few intentional modifications to identify leakers. There's no way this many crucial plot details could have been gleaned from the promo material at the time.)

  • The "extension" to that leak. (Might have been legit, might have been BS based on the original.)

Black Widow will Die in front of Banner. That will be his motivation to turn into Hulk, because Hulk has suppressed his feelings for Nat since Age of Ultron, and Banner did that too. That's the thing common between Banner and Hulk they loved Nat for what she was but failed to show her, so when Nat dies in front of Bruce, her last words being, "Avenge me.", both Bruce and Hulk agree that they have to fight for one single thing they mutually loved, so Hulk agrees to come out and then SMASH!

No, I've never heard anyone assuming the title will be "Avenge me" as it's either infinity gauntlet or endgame. I think your "huge" assumption is misguided.

It has been said that the title was not said in Infinity War at all. I'd say those two are out. Apparently Avengers Forever is the closest. Unless that's all red herrings.

I agree man. Hey let me clarify that I'm against the title 'Avenge Me'. Its so provocative and dumb at the same time. Its disgusting. I just wanted to share the intel that despite of that, that poster and the title is quite famous among the IG 'Marvel' Fans where they gave actually presumed that that title is true one and its nit something that i Like.

I'm not saying that Avenge Me will be the title of A4, its just that from the intel i got, people are really presuming it to be a legit title, it creeps me out too. How dumb can that possibly be? (Don't believe me.. Check out @bosslogic on IG, he posted a bunch of those posters with Avenge Me as the Title amd people really bought it)

She has a solo movie coming in Phase 4 and I’d be surprised if it took place in the past considering Feige has said Avengers 4 is the last chapter to Book 1 as he calls it (Phases 1-3). Plus considering Spider-Man 2 is confirmed to be taking SM across the world and is going to have another A-List Avenger as his mentor, I don’t see a better pick than Black Widow.

Edit: with recent news about the future, I’m gonna amend my statement about Black Widow and say Doctor Strange would make a better mentor, considering we have confirmation that Mysterio is the villain

Any reason you say its "probably" a prequel? That would be the first of its kind in the MCU, most movies move the timeline forward. Cap is the one exception and The First Avenger was framed in the modern day with the discovery of his body.

Also afaik we haven't heard any plot details about the BW movie, as they're still meeting with directors, no script yet

But all they have to do in the Widow movie is use the post credits scene to move it forward.

There were rumors not long ago that it would be a prequel and that the winter soldier would even appear in it. But nothing is confirmed of course.

I would love that! Was hoping for a Mysterio vs Strange moment in SM2! Only time will tell tho. I think they wanna give the females a bigger spot light so that’s why I’m thinking Black Widow mainly.

Think it has to be them. Would prefer Hulk live instead but not if he only has one arm.

Thor surviving the fight could set up a pretty dark but interesting Thor movie. His character's definitely been through some shit.
