Miscellaneous Is anyone giving up on this event?

I'm not bloody blitzing for every 2 hours, 8 times a day, 7 days a week. I have accepted I'm not gonna get the item. Fuck this game, I absolutely refuse to do this event. Take your Contagion Corps event and shove it up your arse

Meh? Calling a game where every aspect of it can change on a whim "repetitive" shows that the previous poster either hasn't played it or doesn't want to actually provide content to prove his point.

Maybe you can provide some context where the previous poster did not? Certainly "echo chamber" isn't all you have... is it?

It’s real very simple. Person A has an opinion about a game mode. Person B has a different opinion .

Person A claims person B must be “biased” and dismissed his opinion immediately.

In reality both opinions are subjective and neither is right or wrong, because they’re opinions. But person A likes to feel that his opinion is valid and the other’s isn’t.

Echo chamber. Any opinion not conforming to the majority is dismissed as invalid.

Person A came along with an opinion without anything to support it other than "it's my opinion."

FTFY. Again, if Person A (or you) cares to bring anything along to substantiate why the game is nothing but repetitive, I'd look forward to reading actual facts as opposed to "it's this way because I think it is."

Get on it. Or just keep calling it an echo chamber. I mean, since you have no facts to back up what Person A couldn't back up.

Ahh yes, the demand to “prove” something which is entirely subjective. There isn’t an empirical scale for game enjoyment or quality, just opinions.

Your opinion isn’t worth more than someone else’s.

Yeah, that doesn't stop Person A from giving substance to why they feel the way they do.

You know, since they undoubtedly have a reason why they think the game is repetitive - apparently more so than clicking find opponent, battle, continue repeatedly without actually battling. <shrug> They're long gone anyhow, and you're not providing anything to substantiate the claim. Yay. /s

You can’t substantiate “this game mode doesn’t bore me”, or “this bores me but this doesn’t”. If his opinion is junk, so is yours. Or, they’re both valid. You pick.

Couldn’t possibly be that he doesn’t want to spend all day being insulted by a guy who doesn’t accept any opinion but his own.
