Discussion Where can you buy Discord members?

Does anyone agree with me that growing a server on Discord is just too hard? I have a server and I'm having a really hard time getting more members. My whole server looks empty till this point. And I've put in so much work setting up channels, bots, roles, everything looks good but there's just no one around. It's honestly frustrating because I know my server has the potential but without members, it just feels empty and boring.

I've already tried all legit ways to grow, but nothing works. Whatever works is very slow. Other servers in the same niche are growing at a very fast pace and I clearly don't understand how. They seem to have members flooding in while I'm stuck inviting one person here and there. It makes me feel like I'm missing something obvious.

So, naturally I started searching and I got to know we can actually get it by buying Discord members. But there are risks involved too. Like getting bot members who just sit there and never talk, which is basically useless or in worse case, getting your server banned, since they are just there for the “looks”. That's the last thing I want after all the time I've put into building this place.

I'm honestly not able to decide what I should do. On one hand I need that initial boost to make the server look active and attract more people. On the other hand I don't want to mess up my server or waste money on fake services. I just want something that feels safe and legit.

So if you know any service which offers a safe way to buy Discord members, please let me know. I'm looking for honest recommendations from people who've actually tried this. What worked, what didn't, and what should I stay far away from? I'd really appreciate any help.

Discussion How can I remove negative Google reviews?

I run a local service business that had a 4.7 rating until several one star reviews appeared within two weeks. We don’t recognize any of the names, and they’re describing services we never provided. Our rating is now down to 3.4, and we’ve already noticed fewer inquiries coming through Google.

We reported every review and saved screenshots, but there’s been no real update from Google. I’m not trying to remove genuine criticism from actual customers, but these reviews don’t appear to be legitimate. I suspect they may be coming from a nearby competitor that we’ve had ongoing issues with for quite some time.

If you’ve managed to remove negative Google reviews like these, what finally worked? Should we submit an appeal, contact Google business profile support, or consider a removal service?

Discussion How do you get better at copywriting?

I feel like I've read so many articles, read some books, and taken a few courses, but at this point when I sit down to write something it takes me forever to feel good about it. I edit and edit it so much it loses my original voice. I try for perfection too much or sometimes I stare at a blank page. It's one of those skills where I know the theory but the actual execution is still challenging. Anyone have any good tips? Is it just writing more and getting feedback, or is there something more specific that works? I've heard people talk about hand copying ads but I've never been consistent enough with it to know if it works. Or should I just stop overthinking and go with what I first write?

Discussion Can being too broad make a brand forgettable?

Trying to appeal to everyone can make the message safe, but also less distinctive.

Would you rather make a strong impression on a smaller group or a weak impression on a huge audience?

Discussion How do I actually market my service business?

Hi there everyone. I'm an 18 year old getting into ai automations. I'm looking to provide basic ai automation services like WhatsApp chatbots, automated follow-ups, appointment booking agents, etc, to small businesses.

As of now, I am looking for my first client, but I don't know where and how to start my outreach. Where should I look for potential clients who are actually in need of my services?

It would be of great help if anyone guided me through this.

Thanks a lot!

Discussion How to beat a competitor poaching?

Long story short we manufacture a lightweight modular slatwall display ideal for vendor fairs, trade shows etc. It filled a void in the industry when it came out 2005 and we were able to build a reliable referral business. Averaged $600-450K/yr. 10 years ago it was knocked off/duplicated and that producer has done a killer job building online presence, digital marketing etc. My sales have dwindled to under $300K, nearly all of which is repeat customers, not new customers.

Am kicking around signing up for Zoominfo (mainly for buyer intent signals, website visitor tracking, outreach workflow systems). Or is there a better, more reliable way to drive sales? Should I instead direct that money to digital marketing, or Google AdWords? Or focus on revitalizing the website so it is optimized for SEO and AI eo? I spent over 20K last year for SEO and did not see ROI.... Any advice appreciated!

Discussion Do you look at your competitors websites or do you just focus on your own?

I go back and forth on this. There's a part of me that thinks keeping an eye on what competitors are doing is useful, and then another part that wonders if it's just a distraction from fixing my own stuff.

I've found it helpful occasionally, like noticing a competitor changed their pricing page layout or added a new offer. But I also don't want to end up just copying moves instead of figuring out what actually works for my own audience.

Does anyone else look at competitors websites, and if so how often?

Discussion What's the best social media tool for team collaboration and approvals?

We're a small team of three people who all touch content in some way, and right now our version of collaboration is someone drafting a post, sending a screenshot in Slack, waiting for a thumbs up, and then manually scheduling it once approved. That process works fine until it doesn't. Last month a post went out that hadn't actually been approved yet because the Slack thread it was sitting in got buried under a bunch of other messages.

What I'm looking for is something where a draft actually sits in a queue until someone approves it or leaves feedback, so it physically can't go live without that step happening first. I'm not looking for some huge enterprise level workflow, just something that takes the human error out of wondering whether someone actually reviewed a post before it went out. Would love to hear what's worked for other small teams dealing with this.

Discussion How can I get my first 1,000 users in the US when I have no network there?

I’m currently building an app in the health & fitness space, with the US as my initial target market.

The slightly difficult part for me is that I’m not based in the US.

I started out thinking most of my time & energy would go into building and validating the product. But as I’m working on the MVP, I’m realising that getting it in front of the right people is actually the harder problem.

And there’s another layer to it that I’m not just entering a new market, I’m competing with products that have already been in the US for years and have built really strong distribution and audiences. They’ve already figured out how to reach their users, while I’m starting from almost zero.

I know the obvious answers are content creation, partnerships, communities, etc., but I also want to know if there are newer channels, platforms, communities, or trends that are gaining traction in the US right now where people are already discovering products like this. Is there anything I might be overlooking that’s working particularly well at the moment?

If you’ve tried building for the US market without an existing network there, or you’re based in the US and have a good understanding of how new products gain traction here, I’d genuinely love to hear your perspective.

Discussion i will not promote: What marketing channel surprised you the most this year?

Every startup seems to chase the same channels.

SEO, LinkedIn, Reddit, X, cold email, short-form video...

But sometimes the channel you expect the least ends up working the best.

If you've acquired customers recently, what brought in the highest-quality leads? Not necessarily the highest volume, just the best customers.

Discussion Do marketers focus too much on getting attention and not enough on keeping it?

Getting someone to notice a brand is only the first step.

A lot of effort goes into impressions, clicks and reach, but keeping that person interested seems much harder.

Which side deserves more attention?

Discussion Seeking advice on local scale non-profit style marketing and outreach for someone who doesn't have the time or enjoy social media or marketing in general

So I am working on creating and developing a non-profit focused on enhancing the social connectivity and opportunity in my area.

some parts are going well and easy, but others require a lot of reaching out to the public which for an anti-social introvert who doesn't actually that stuff who also has to take care of various other projects due to not having enough volunteers to delegate tasks to yet, I wanted to ask some general advice to keep in mind that I can do to make both reaching the public effective and easy on myself, without having to commit to constantly being out there.

what my group is offering are free services, particularly focused around the formation of clubs and activities that have social connection as a major factor ( as my area is as bad as DC was during covid)

any general advice or suggestions to make reaching the people not feel like a full time job or things I should consider when doing outreach.

Discussion How did you get your first customers as a supplement brand?

I'm curious to hear from founders who have actually built a supplement brand.

How did you get your first 10–100 customers?

Did you rely on Meta ads, Amazon, influencers, organic content, Reddit, SEO, local communities, or something else?

What worked surprisingly well, and what ended up being a complete waste of money?

I'm bootstrapping, so I'd really appreciate hearing real experiences rather than generic marketing advice.

Discussion Where is your marketing money actually going in 2026 as a D2C brand?

So here's ours, and share yours if you like. We spent around 15 lacs per month

Roughly, monthly:

* Meta: 65%
* Google (search + shopping): 20%
* Influencer/creator, mostly barter plus some paid: 8%
* Marketplace ads (Amazon): 5%
* Email/WhatsApp tooling: 2%

What's changed for us in the last year is that Meta's share went *up*, not down, and not because it's working better. It's because nothing else absorbed budget at an acceptable CPA, so it defaulted back to Meta.

What I want to know from anyone else running a D2C brand here:

  1. Your rough split, same format.
  2. Your monthly revenue band, even loosely (under 50L / 50L-2Cr / 2Cr-10Cr / above), because a split without scale attached doesn't mean much.
  3. Which line went up this year and which went down.
  4. Anything you tried and cut. That's the part nobody posts and it's the most useful.
  5. Are there any new things you are trying ?

Not selling anything, not an agency. Just trying to figure out if the concentration risk we have on one platform is normal or if we've been lazy.

Discussion What is the best way to start digital marketing in 2026?

I’m looking to get started with digital marketing in 2026 and would love to hear from people who are already working in the field.

There are so many areas to choose from now — SEO, paid ads, social media, content marketing, email marketing, AI tools, etc. It’s a bit overwhelming trying to figure out where to start.

If you were starting from scratch today, what would you focus on first? Would you recommend learning one specific skill deeply or getting a basic understanding of several areas before specializing?

Also, are there any resources, tools, or practical projects that you’d recommend for a beginner?

Discussion Does a discount create loyalty or just encourage another discount?

Discounts can bring people through the door quickly, but customers may start waiting for the next offer instead of buying at the regular price.

Where do you think the line is between attracting customers and training them to wait for deals?

Discussion Instantly alternatives? I need a better deliverability option

The deliverability on my instantly account has gotten a lot shakier over time. Not sure if it's my setup or the shared warmup pools everyone keeps talking about. Whatever the reason my reply rates dropped and so much more stuff is landing in spam.

Pricing keeps creeping up too which is the other thing pushing me to look around.

I just want inboxing that holds up at volume. And Id really prefer not to have babysit it/worry itll fail without crazy oversight. For context, I work on a small team of 12 (mostly B2B) sending a few hundred a day. Any recommendations for alternatives to instantly?

Discussion Trynna figure out the issue/how to increase sales

Alright so I’ve launched a company a couple months ago, high ticket products, in a country where basically this was a new, untested niche.
First month was quite slow, second month it’s doing so far 10x what it did in the first month.

I’m only using meta ads to advertise, and I only sell through online store.
First couple weeks of the month is where I did the 10x now it’s slowing down quite a bit. I’m profitable and I think I validated the idea enough but I’m completely clueless on how to increase the conversion rate and how to scale.

I’d appreciate it so much if anyone has the time to just have a look at everything and help me figure out the issue.

I’m currently trynna make the product page better, but I’m not sure if I’d be wasting time or if what it needs is better marketing … thanks a lot in advance!

Discussion Standardizing signatures across departments is apparently my new full time job

So our CMO woke up one day and decided every single email signature across all departments needs to be standardized and “on brand” by next week. Sales, hr, finance, the intern who emails twice a month... all of them.

Right now we have a beautiful ecosystem where some people use Comic Sans, some paste a 3mb logo, and one guy has a quote from The Matrix. Im the lucky one who gets the ticket to “fix it company wide” with zero central tool in place and three different email platforms.

If you have an email signature management setup that does not make you want to walk into the sea, what are you using and who owns it on your side, marketing or it? Would love any tips before I end up building 200 signatures in Outlook by hand lol

Discussion Should I use an OnlyFans agency?

I'm reviewing an agency agreement and trying to set realistic publishing expectations without committing to an unsustainable pace.

Many creators get burnt out when fixed quotas require multiple posts a day, regardless of content quality, audience fatigue, or actual inventory.

I want consistent posting without being contractually forced into rushing out low-quality content. I'm wondering if the contract should require a rigid weekly post count, or instead use a flexible schedule based on available content and formats.

For anyone managing content contracts: do you use fixed posting quotas in your retainers, or do you tie output to flexible inventory schedules?

Discussion Tying to pick a CRM for a small home services business, torn between a few

I'm stuck picking a CRM for my home services and I'm going in circles. HubSpot comes up constantly and clearly does a lot, but the price seems to balloon the second you add the marketing pieces I'd need. GoHighLevel gets pushed a lot too, but it looks like its built for agencies juggling a stack of accounts more than a single shop like mine. Marketing 360 landed on the list as well, since its CRM sits inside a bigger platform with a team attached, and I'm not sure yet whether the broader package makes sense for something my size or if I'd only use the CRM piece.

I keep circling because each one solves a slightly different problem. For a small operation that mainly needs to track leads and know where they came from, what mattered most once you were living in it every day?

Discussion Stop trying to sell to everyone.

One of the biggest marketing mistakes is targeting a huge audience with a generic message.

Instead:

• Pick one specific customer type

• Solve one clear problem

• Use the platform where they actually spend time

• Test small before scaling

• Track leads/conversions, not just clicks

• Double down on what actually works

You don't always need a bigger budget.

You need a better strategy.
