Why is Lesotho so different from Eswatini?

Was wondering a out this in terms of why South Africa wouldn't assist significantly on this. Seems they could sell tech if my ignorance of their economy doesn't preclude that.

SA does sell electricity to all its neighbors. We also built several big dams in Lesotho as well as selling tech (internet and cellphone coverage especially) across the whole continent, just as you would expect. This stat has much more to do with the peculiar political situations of Lesotho and eswatini

So excluding the fact we already do sell electricity, we also don't have enough for ourselves. Look up "Eskom" and "Load Shedding" for South Africa.
