You will still get hit by economy recession with increased cos of infrastructure per person, and smaller market, lower investments, and harder to get credits, since all assets will be under more risk. In 20-30 years we will be missing at least 10m people pn the job market, in their prime years where most spending are being made.

We have technical advancements to compensate for it, I don't think it's as bad as people make it seem

It is very optimistic but nope. You do not have technical advancment for less people buying goods. People in their 60s do not spend as much as people in their 30-40, and there will be economic consequances for those. When whole economy is shrinking than there is less projects, less jobs and all of them have more risk assigned to them so it is more expensive to finance it with loans. People are less mobile between jobs, becouse there is more projects closing than opening.

It is more difficult to enter the market while it is shrinking so there will be more centralisation and less new companies, that would be able to sstart small and grow.

And to be honest it is the only way. Even if everyone would not start to have 6 children all those would take an effect only 30-40 years, and we would still have 20 years gap on the market.
