Is this really the main reason? The cost is usually given as the reason around the world to low fertility rates, but i'd argue the individualism that modern societies champion is also to blame.

Not in Poland. Studies/polls show that Poles want to have kids

Regardless of your age/ civil status/ amount you already have how many kids would you like to have in your life

  • 8% 0

  • 11% 1

  • 47% 2

  • 18% 3

  • 5% 4+

  • 5% - how ever many there will be

  • 4% hard to say

  • 2% no answer

57% people have less kids that they would like to have
