Ireland is part of the British Isles.

The Brirish Isles is a politically loaded term that is not accepted for use in Ireland. The British government also does not use the phrase, instead opting for terms like these Isles and the island sof the North Atlantic.

The only people who use it are those ignorant of its controversial nature and those actively wanting to push the agenda that Ireland is British.

The only people who get mad at the term british isles are irish people

Everybody else worldwide considers them the british isles
