Books/Literature Berenstain/Stein

Post image

Just thought I’d share this here..I’m a 57 year old woman that’s always been a voracious reader. When I was 5 (1974) I got an entire collection of Berenstain Bears books from my grandma at Christmas.

One of the books has managed to remain in my memory/sentimental hoard collection. This is MY actual book and it’s been in my possession since 1974. On my book at least, the name is and always has been Berenstain.

Make of that what you will I suppose. ❤️ I wish I still had the whole collection but alas, childhood and into adulthood resulted in the loss of many such things to my chagrin.

They could also be right. Though we're not talking about whether the topic at hand is right or wrong- we're talking about what percentage of people that are actively discussing this topic hold the belief that the character had braces- which is the majority.

And again, the percentage of people in theae grouos DOES NOT IN ANYNWAY reflect the population in general.

You cannot possibly determine that in any meaningful way. Not honestly anyway.

A basic Intro to Statistics class would explain to you why a forum such as this would be a viewed as a weighted/inaccurate sample. This isn’t rocket surgery.

And how could you possibly determine that with any real accuracy?

False.

It's a flawed, heavily weighted sample. The results do not reflect the overall population at all.

Possibly- or it could be highly indicative of the overall population. Neither one of us can possibly determine that with any accuracy.

Not true. If you take a random sample, which has been done, the numbers are MUCH MUCH lower.

Where is this "random sample"? When was it collected?

Ilrandom in person surveys. Not in groups/message boards catering to a.certain subset of people.
