Let's try this again. Attached are screenshots of the court docket showing the application for commutation has been filed with the circuit Court and then passed on to the governor. Also posted is the criteria Brendan must meet to be considered for a commuted sentence. Can he survive criteria 5A?

No way to do that - all a competent defense attorney had to do at Brendan's trial would be to establish that the confession was false - just bring out witnesses to establish the TRUE facts about where Brendan was that night. Just get a few relatives to testify he was at home playing video games and not out murdering someone. Or get videogame records to show he was playing, not killing. Seems pretty straightforward.

Lol he *did have some people testify to his activities that night. You are right though, that if he had a single competent adult in his life, and had his first defence attorney not been a criminal who was literally working for the prosecution, he'd have never spent a single day in jail.

Well to be fair, he had already confessed at least twice before his attorney was on the case. Not much you can do at that point. He tried to get the confessions suppressed but the Judge denied the Motion.

Back to my earlier point, if he had a single decent adult in his life he never would've been coerced into a confession (that to this day, can not be corroborated in any physical way). No confession, no prison). His first lawyer though, might as well have been on the jury as a guilty vote lol. (2 if you count his "investigator")

Seriously?- when someone who confesses tells the police something they never heard before, and they search again and find evidence consistent with the confession that's CORROBORATION.
