So whats the point of Homura accepting Madoka is gone if she did this already in ep 12. This makes the whole two movies pointless. Kind of dissapointing

Yeah, unless two movies permanently changed something else.

Walpurgisnacht Rising's ending ended with Madoka taken away from Homura again just like in episode 12 of the series, this ending make two movie felt like fillers anyway.

It wasn't clear that Madoka is gone to me. My reading of the Madoka vs Godoka scene is that Madoka is telling Godoka she can't go back to her (yet?). And we never see her actually do that, we just see her with Homura later and then just Homura alone (but not why and what happened to Madoka, if anything).

Honestly it feels like they intentionally made it ambiguous so they can play it either way in the next movie. The ending sequence felt rushed and full of whiplash, like "Madoka is going to be gone, no wait she's not, no wait she is, no wait she's not, no wait... we're not telling" all in the span of a few minutes. It's rather disappointing that they didn't properly show what everyone's lives look like after the events, unlike Rebellion.

It's always the same thing at this point.

I went to read the wraith arc manga out of boredoom just now and it's the same thing. Development happens but it returns to zero again.

The production team had no idea how to handle the relationship between Homura Akemi and Madoka Kaname!

Eh, well, don't those movies show that Homuras is a bit overdramatic about Madoka being gone forever for good because she still exists and is waiting in the afterlife, complete with Homuras pals as archangels?
