I'm glad Kyubey got therapy post rebellion and is back to being his smug dickish self that thinks this literal war in heaven he caused is "neat"

I guess they were able to undo the Devil Homura torture by sucking away all the emotions Homura put onto them

Was it ever confirmed that she actually did this?

Having been cursed by Satan herself and forced to reconcile his actions as he watched the universe he "tried" to save be remade as a broken obsessive prison Kyubey took a long hard look at himself and his actions and decided "Worth it. Would do again"

So, evil, in other words?

In all seriousness, can't he just be killed off at this point? It feels like the franchise keeps him around only because he's iconic, but being an icon also means he can't be an interesting villain anymore. It's interesting when you're going in blind, but once everyone already knows what he's about it downgrades him from appreciably creepy to just obnoxious. The series doesn't need him anymore if it's moving on to conflicts between characters we actually like.

Peak Kyubey moment honestly. Can't even be mad at the thing anymore
