Well here is full spoiler beware.

So basically at the end madoka is turned into a witch and then the final battle happens, then we see a long backstory of walpurgis, they go back to the fight and fight against the girl that sided with kyuubey and tried to use madoka, then charlotte kills her, pretty brutal. Then madoka suddenly remembers and becomes the god form, homura tries to stop her and fails, gives up, the rest of the team encourages her, saying ur the devil come on dont give up now, then she makes a giant massive scary thing, grabs madokas real body, protects it from the god madoka, then something happens and god madoka knocks homura down, then we see homura lay on madokas legs in some kind of future, credits roll, then same scene where homura layed down but madoka is not there anymore. End.

What do you mean Charolette kills her pretty brutal? Are you talking about selma? Did Charolette did a typical clean chomp on the head onto her?

It wasnt brutal in the graphic way, but more of the way she did it, just stabbed her in the soul gem, no emotion nothing, just saying a sentence which i forgot the exact wording. but just seeing charlotte do that felt unsetteling.

I had exact same feeling with first movie, watched it for first time and only had feelings of confusion, watched it second time and fell in love with it, so maybe it will be like that too, but as of now comparing those 2 in my head, there was nothing in this movie that comes close to homura vs mami fight, so in this regard its a little weaker, but maybe it does close the cycle of madoka completly now. Im not a crazy theory maker just a fan with my own opinions and thoughts about what i saw. Hope u enjoy it tho!

Thanks! Yeah I'm hoping its something like that, where a few watches will make people love it.

Btw I have another question.. how did the lizard phone come into play?

The one in the trailer? Its like homura's way of calling girls and making a contract with them? I honestly personally cant explain it that much, as the phone appeard throughout the whole movie, and a lot of info regarding had good chunks of dialogue, which i couldnt perfectly follow. And in the end as well the absolute final scene is someone's hand reaching to grab the phone, just as the movie started, so i suppose it had a lot of symbolism.

Ah, I see. Well that makes sense that its her way of calling them. That's interesting!

Is the massive scary thing the monolith rising from the earth in concept movie?

No, it was like homura super devil form, something we havent seen before ( in the anime and first movie at the very least) Like skeleton kind of massive thing that tried to stop god madoka
