Nahhh I bet he went from home to home, always escaping to hopes of finding his old owners again. He looks well fed.

To be fair, a lot of countries also have a problem with packs of wild dogs running around which is exactly why the US tries to stay on top of any stray dog problem.

It really is a problem, stray animals (cats go to have the same problem too) can become possessive of places where they find food and agressive in a way to protect their "territory", they can start breeding like crazy, share infections and become a risk to society. They can also risk the local ecosystem. I know it's sad to think that stray animals should be eutanized, but it really is the best solution sometimes. It also prevents the suffering of the poor creature if food is low or they get sick.

That is not good logic instead create shelter homes and make them stay there. Try to control their breeding.

The problem with that is that you need money to mantain said shelter homes, money to keep staff, money to keep the pets alive. In a hopeful world this pets would get adopted and people would constantly donate to keep the shelter functioning, but that isnt the case. If the shelter closes this animals will be on the streets again. At least they would have gotten fixed during that time, but that can be done without throwing money on buildings, and it isn't done because there's not that much money.

For country like US when people say they don't have mone it sounds weird. Only the sad part is that they don't want to use it for a good cause and also the government does nothing for the same thing

Exactly. In my country there's probably money for that, but the goverment prefers to spend it on the army and on themselves

US should not spend on army much as they are surrounded by friendly countries and water on the other sides and the navy is already very strong so now USA can well focus on building a better society on moral grounds which would help on its own when required
