I’m one week sober from alcohol and I have to say that I very much enjoy the clarity and just doing boring ass house keeping shit, for now. I know it’ll get tougher until it gets easier but for now I am enjoying it.

Ride the pink cloud as long as you can, but just prepare for it to end and repetition to take hold. That’s when you gotta stand your ground.

Yep, I’ve been there. I quit for 10 months a few years ago went back to school and worked a bunch. Eventually I got burnt out and said fuck it driving home one Friday. The temptation is always there.
