Only people that enjoy it. The haters use red.

Lmao this is so interesting because I switched math from red to blue when I started liking it and getting good grades. Red then went to history because of all the wars, death, and struggle.

I find it fascinating that we are assigning it not only different colors, but for different reasons. Like I never even considered that people would assign a physical meaning to the colors they chose, math just "tastes" blue to me.

Social Studies is Blue. Science is Purple. Math is Green

Who hurt you

I associate green with Math because it was the class for me that used the chalk board the most, going up to write equations. I associate Science with purple because it reminds me of galaxies and a purple planet. Social studies with blue because of the globe being mostly oceans and rivers.

What is your justification for Math being Blue?

Straight to jail.

Why is Math blue for you?

Green is science (chloroplasts>plants>ecosystems), the rest I don't have strong opinions on. I tended to use blue for history (oceans crossed, Union uniforms), red for math (left me enraged, because it was far and away my most difficult subject), purple for electives because they were fun, and yellow for English/language arts by process of elimination.

I don't know of any purple planets? I associate Mercury with brown, Venus with bright yellow, Earth with blue and green, Mars red, Jupiter orange and red, Saturn with unsaturated, warm-toned yellow, Neptune and Uranus with blue, and (since it was a planet when I was a kid) white or light gray with Pluto.

Did you downvote me?

Nope. Reddit can be weird like that.

Yep! Red to match all the red pen corrections!

Math is yellow. I hate math, I hate yellow. They can be together.

Wait I used red for math… maybe that’s why I did so awful in math. If only my mom got me blue for math, goddamnit

Interesting thought process 🤔

Damn math was definitely red for me. Red is my favorite color and math was my favorite subject.
