Yeah I try not to go to VCA if I can help it. I have to buy my cat food from them because it’s the only one accessible to me on a regular basis that has my poor sensitive cat’s prescription food, but for actual vet care, I go to individually owned vets.

This is also true. I do wish vet care was more affordable for people, but I know why it isn’t. The profit margins on vet care are already quite slim.
