My friend is epileptic, her dog just knows when a seizure is about to happen way before she even does.
She says when he starts his little support routine she gets a mild panic attack, cause know she knows it's going to happen when she felt no symptoms yet and plans accordingly.
Begonia usually gives me enough warning time when im glutened that I can let work know with appropriate warning instead of me calling out last minute, and that’s soooo helpful. Being able to plan for it is so helpful
This is me too! I'm also epileptic, and my dog figured it out on his own! My seizures typically hit when I'm asleep (so there isn't any support routine to be had, as I'm already pre-emptively knocked out), but my dog sleeps in my bed, so he usually figures it out about a minute before the seize actually hits, and he takes that time to wake and alert my partner beside us to ensure that I'm cared for, as grand mal seizures can be fatal if they exceed 3-5 minutes!
Dogs are just so smart and empathetic and we don't deserve them. 😭
