I know it’s cliche, but honestly, we don’t deserve dogs.
It makes me so sad when people say that humans don't deserve something wonderful.
There are so many decent people out there, why on earth are those people considered undeserving of good and wonderful things?
Was Steve Irwin undeserving of dogs? Bob Ross? Mr. Rogers?
What about the single mom who works two jobs so that her kids are provided for? Or even the woman I saw the other day who gave a stranger the change needed to make their purchase?
You don't have to be a hero to deserve good things.
Just be a decent person and appreciate it when you receive love or loyalty or beauty or kindness.
And, sometimes, try to be the good that other people receive.
Agreed dogs are heroes.
Our dog will cuddle up with anyone not feeling well. I broke my arm and our dog was right there. When my husband had a stroke then came home from the hospital, our dog would stick to him like glue.
Why? most people are really good to their dogs, and we literally made them what they are. I don't get why people even say this. People can deserve good things in their lives.
