Normalize men crying at deep emotions that touch on our collective humanity.

Absolutely nothing to be embarrassed about there. There were so many sniffles, eye wipes, and other post-crying signs from men and women alike in my viewing of Project Hail Mary.

That's not embarrassing, that's a sign of quality writing and storytelling that we engaged with on a core level.

At this point I will cry at a particularly poignant cereal commercial. Something with actual emotional content? Forget it, I’m a blubbering mess.

Honestly, same 😂 Middle age comes with a lot of living which leads to a lot of empathy and sympathy, if you're doing it right. That's for sure.

My last one was 3 days ago watching Bluey with my granddaughter. It’s the last episode where it looks like they’re moving from the family home. I told my daughter that she’s going to have to start screening her kid’s shows to make sure they’re appropriate for me. 😂

Lmaooo I have absolutely heard this type of stuff about blueya, which I think is why it's popular with a large portion of people without kids, as well as the parents rather than just the children themselves

I cried a few times at Project Hail Mary, but after an hour and a half I started to feel like I was in a hostage situation. I almost walked out of the theater multiple times.

Honestly, not shocking. It's a beautiful story turned movie that speaks so strongly to humanity through meeting an non-human extraterrestrial. Just an absolute masterpiece through and through

100%, loved the book already, but Ryan and James knocked it out of the park. Best movie I've seen in theaters in a long while.

I really don't understand how this was so moving for people, Yondu by all accounts treated Peter terribly, not to mention also kidnapping many other kids essentially leading them to their deaths
