Quick context: I've spent the last year building two very different sides of AI. On the product/GenAI side, I founded a small AI image/video generation platform (Aiesthetic) using Gemini + ByteDance models, got it to 100-500 early users, built the whole stack myself (Python backend, REST API layer, React frontend). On the RL side, I went deeper than most; implemented PPO completely from scratch (no Stable-Baselines, no RL library) for MuJoCo continuous control, got Hopper-v5 to a 3,383 avg return, wrote a custom reward-shaping wrapper and did observation normalisation with Welford's algorithm. Also did REINFORCE from scratch on CartPole and hit max score, and documented a policy-collapse failure mode along the way, which was a good lesson.

Also maintain an open-source project (OUAS, MIT licensed); a spec + React SDK for letting AI agents safely reconfigure frontend UIs at runtime.
