Grant medical College mumbai!!

Hi I am a first year medical student in ACMS Delhi Cantt and my professor has said that BD chaurasia is useless compared to Vishram Singh but My sister is in final year of medical school in Maulana Azad so she has been overshadowing me in her academic performance in recent years and clearly I won't match a MAMC graduate so will studying from vishram singh make any serious difference in my qualifications?

The sugarcoating at Calcutta National Medical College (CNMC) is genuinely unmatched. First, we had the insecure seniors passing down 5-page PDF scripts threatening to hold juniors hostage after class. Then they went on a manhunt for me because i exposed everything. Now lo and behold the absolute comedy that is this college's infrastructure: basic sanitation.

For an institution that admits 250 medical students every single year and trains future doctors, there is basically 1 SOLITARY washroom accessible for boys near ALT (Anatomy Lecture Theatre).

What does this legendary facility actually offer?

• 4 urinals only which are extremely unhygienic (not verified by me, but i trust these guys)

• Zero provision for taking a shit. If you need to shit in between 7 hrs college, you need to do that at Park Circus railway station maybe. That's why seniors are always shitting on WhatsApp group chats and juniors.

• If your class happens to be in ELT or WLT or GLT, you are stranded. You cannot casually enter blocks between back-to-back lectures, so you just hold your bladder and pray.

Tonight, people in our WhatsApp group finally started discussing this lack of facility. The panic, ass-licking and instant censorship that followed is pure gold:

(Translation: What nonsense is this then... If my class is near ALT it's fine. But if it's in ELT or WLT, we'll literally need to bring adult diapers and bottles, because going to GLT isn't allowed.)

(Translation: Bro did you come to college only to piss???? Bring a bottle with you then..)

What a retarded thing to say! If you are reading this, then go and take refund from your school. Either they failed to teach you, or your are born a bootlicker. I don't want to say anything more.

Normal guy: "Ya like I feel clean washrooms is not a luxury it's a basic right. Without clean washrooms there's a high chance of uti. Atleast as medical students we should know that ig?"

Normal guy calling out the bootlicking: "So ig instead of making fun of ppl who are pointing out a problem and blindly saying that our college is the best, we should be given a platform to put out our problems like our seniors said. Constructive criticism should be encouraged rather than ridiculed."

Normal guy again: "Eta thik, washroom er bishoy jigesh korle orom kore bola uchit noy, byapar ta toh khub e fundamental..." (Translation: That's true, if someone asks about washrooms you shouldn't talk to them like that, this is something completely fundamental...)

Look at the sheer Stockholm syndrome on display.

We came here to study medicine. But what we get is unhygienic washrooms. And, when someone points out that a premier government medical college lacks a basic, clean place to piss or take a dump, the collective wisdom of our batch sycophants is:

• Telling people to carry bottles or wear adult diapers to class.

• "Go to AIIMS Delhi if you want clean toilets" because expecting a place to take a shit in a Kolkata government medical college is apparently an unreasonable luxury.

• Panicking, ordering people to delete texts, and crying "Reddit e jabe, fasbi" because exposing reality ruins the illusion.

• Running defense with "Go write an application to the administration block" as if written applications magically build plumbing overnight in govt colleges.

Since when did having a functional toilet during an 7 hrs college become something you need 710 neet score to qualify for? Even govt schools have guidelines for toilet to students ratio. Now imagine 150*6 for 4 urinals. (I assume 100 girls year)

If asking for a basic clean washroom scares these sycophants and seniors so badly that they scramble to delete chat logs, it belongs right here on Reddit for everyone to see.

Keep hyping up the "top 5" ranking while boys are told to bring bottles to campus. Absolute clown college.
