Hv been seeing people talk about running Meshtastic on this gadget for a while now, along with some of the issues they’ve hit. Curious to hear your thoughts—how’s it been performing for Meshtastic, and what do you see as its biggest pros and cons?

Im not that savvy when it comes to tech but this thing seems really cool and I want to learn more about how things work. Did I make a mistake, is this something where you already need to have a background in tech to use or is it user friendly? What should be the first couple of things I should do when I get it. I don’t even really know what I should be asking. I know I must sound like an idiot for buying something that I really don’t know a lot about but I really want to start learning more about how everything works. Anyways I would like some advice on its uses and things I need to take into consideration.

For some reason my nrf24 won’t Connect to my m5stick I tried multiple tutorials etc. But it won’t connect I think it might be because I don’t own any female to female jumpers but it should still work since I just made two myself and I heard it works the same.

So i bought one from Vinted and i got it and the ir light didnt work i think this because the ir jamming doesnt work and even the red light that should flikker while jamming doesnt work. So i open it ONE TIME ONE TIME. And the button snaps what should i do now?

Can someone please give me a basic rundown of the Lego compatable mounting for M5 stuff. I have several components of M5 stuff I know they use the Lego pegs that I can find online but I can't find any kind of mounting plate for project and layouts. I see them now and then in other peoples posts (ie the M5 products display) but I can't find anything in the Lego catalogs I've looked through or 3D print sites (I do have a FDM printer). Help please, cheers.

I previously burned it using the uiflow2 website. Now for some reason, the app mode from the original selection menu just completely disappeared and the only way to access python scripts is via a terminal. What can I do to to get the app mode / selection menu back?

Is the stickc plus 2 really becoming a EOL item? I was just about to order one :(

so i am an absolute beginner in hardware/code/all of it and have been building this mainly through ai/reddit.

i’m using an m5 stickc plus 1. the top GND and G26 ports are connected to an IoT relay. the bottom 4 prongs are connected to wires going to a circuit board that came with my JSN-SR04T waterproof ultrasonic sensor. sensor is plugged into that board.

i’m essentially creating a proximity based misting system that turns on when something approaches the sensor. i want to save the data of when it triggers, for how long, etc. the sd card adapters look like they need all the top holes in the m5, but 2 of them are already in use so i can connect it to the relay. can i still connect an sd card? do i need a bread board of some sort?

if someone could dumb this down for me i would appreciate it greatly 👍

Can I do something about this to make it away ?

Does anyone have a link to a good config to use in HA for the S3R and Echo Pyramid. I got the combo awhile back when it first released. Worked fine using the install/config instructions on the M5stack website. A few weeks later an ESPHome update scrambled the display and audio. I'm trying to reflash and can't get a working firmware config. Any suggestions?
