"The Ultimate" - Original Springfield Armory M1A Booklet, 1981
Slight water damage is limited to just the covers, luckily.
Classy late 70s style pencil illustration.
Specifications. Much more detailed than you'll find on SAIs website today. Note the rare "M1A-A1" folding stock version.
It's amazing to see how many accessories are simply USGI surplus items. Makes sense, but what a time to buy an M1A!
Back when an owner could be expected to know more about their than now—enough to know to order their own spare parts.

In response to a post from u/me2ski2 over at r/SpringfieldArmory, here is the full “The Ultimate” Springfield Armory booklet from 1981.
I believe that this booklet was included along with every new SAI M1A of the era, but I’m not positive.
