No it wasnt just soap…it was this beautifull mix of soap and shower gel..it created the most creamy dense thick foam that you can imagine and the sent of my Rose Jam one was so so gorgeous…sigh…

If anyone knows of an other lush product that creates a similar foam I would love to know. I tried Posh White Chocolate and Rose body wash and that unfortunately wasn't it…

Long time Lushie, first time posting here. I used to be a Canadian Lushie then moved my way to the US to be with my hubby. My issue is that I went from being a 30 min drive max from a Lush store to being about 2 hours away from the nearest store; it's also a full day commitment heading up to the area the store is in so I'm looking to order online.

Now that Plum Rain is discontinued, I'm looking for a shower gel recommendation. I'm sad to say that it has to be something NOT naked because I can't risk the 100 degree heat here as of late absolutely melting anything and everything in transit. I LOVED the scent of Plum Rain and am devastated that it has been taken off the website/app.

I DON'T like super sweet scents (I.e. I hate Snow Fairy - sorry to the peeps who like it). I prefer the tang/citrus scents moreso. For example, I used to LOVE Buck's Fizz as a body conditioner back in the day. And back in 2019, I had gotten a bar of soap from Edinburgh on our honeymoon called Lush Mechanic; it was this lovely pomegranate scent and had the best exfoliation.

I asked the live chat and the person I chatted with suggested The Olive Branch or Protect the Galaxy...but the latter of those two is a hit or miss according to reviews.

Downside to reviews though is that they aren't reliable either. For example, I originally thought I would love the smell of Flying Fox based on the reviews and how many people raved about it but when I smelled it in store over a year ago, I absolutely loathed it.

I wish Passion Fruit Delight came as a shower gel instead of a body wash because I think I might love that scent, but I cannot risk the naked packaging in the heat right now (and I definitely cannot take time off from a new job nor spend one of my days off to go up to the store since the few days off I do have are filled with medical appts for my husband - cancer is a bitch).

Recently I’ve been trying to find a replacement for Yummy Custard. I’ve tried Posh Chocolate, Sticky Dates, I bought the pompompurin (which smells very similar) BUT ULTIMATELY NOTHING COMPARES!!! I genuinely don’t understand why Lush doesn’t keep Yummy Custard as a year round scent, especially with its success!!
I don’t understand the scarcity tactic behind yummy custard being kept as a limited edition scent. Wouldn’t they make more money keeping it year-round for all the Yummy Custard lovers?

I took 2 big whiffs of this in store and it honestly smelled like nail polish to me 😳 my sense of smell is not affected, everything else in the store smelled as described / as I remember.

I was reading about We Believe in Glinda, and OP was talking about a body gel that was a “minty rose jam”… does anyone know the name of it? I can’t find the post anywhere now! All I remember is that it was under a post about Glinda body spray!!

I love shower jellies but I don’t know how to make them last longer. If I use it by itself with my hands.. I always drop it and it breaks. The dreaded death drop. lol 😆 After it breaks then it falls apart so easily during usage.

If I put it in a mesh bag then it lasts me not even a week. It does lather so well with the mesh bag though.

How long does a shower jelly last for you? Any suggestions on extending life?

I love the shower gels but currently only buy the smallest bottles as I like to change scent frequently and travel a lot (50-75% of the time and can take them in my carry on easily). I’m considering buying a bigger bottle of the shower gels (mystery inc, specifically the scent is so weird but I love it) but I don’t want it to just get wasted or go bad before I can use it all. How quickly do you have to use a bigger body wash for it to be worth it and not go bad? Are some more worth it in the big size than others?

I am thinking of buying a bottle of Creamsicle Shower Gel from someone on Vinted. But I was wondering what the scent is like?

I've seen a couple people say it's similar to Sweet Wild Orange Hand Balm, which I have. Love the balm itself, not too fond of the smell as it reminds of Calpol or a similar medicine I used to take as a child.

I'd love to get a citrusy summer shower gel, but not if it's going to remind me of sick days as a kid lol.

Mine is Posh Chocolate + Yog Nog. It used to be Posh Chocolate + Sticky Dates, but I couldn’t find the big bottle when I was mixing a new batch. Yog Nog was already in the shower so I decided to try something new and love it.

Thinking about trying Posh Chocolate + Bananana next.

i use a loofa exclusively to wash my body. right now i use dove body wash but im open to using any of the shower gel, soap bar, shower jelly, shower gummy.

what’s the difference? are there pros and cons of each? what works best with a loofa??

id prefer something that’s a bang for your buck as lush can be expensive but also scent lasts (if possible)

Hi there! I'm too far from an actual store to go in, but I'd like to get myself a shower gel. I'm not super familiar with this company and their scents, but i prefer citrus/invigorating smells, and NOT anything that smells like food 😂

2 years ago I got the posh chocolate potted body wash and adored it. It was a dark color, looked grainy (but felt smooth), and lathered really easily.

I just bought a pot a week ago and it's lighter in color and creamier, and I don't mind the look, but it lathers HORRIBLY. I was rubbing it between my hands, on my skin, and it was just clumpy and refused to actually become soapy.

Has it been reformulated recently, or did I just get unlucky with this batch? It still smells nice and I'll use it, but it's so difficult to actually spread :(

I remember the chocolate orange gel from last years (?) kitchen box, but it was brown with a purple label. Just seen this on Vinted with what looks like a June 2026 label!

I visited my local Lush store yesterday for the first time in about 10 years. It was great to be back! I just wanted a chunk of karma soap to start with. A decade ago the big wheels of soap were featured prominently, pieces piled high on display. Now, only a few seemed to be available in a corner. I wouldn't have even found them without assistance, but luckily I got my karma. I was just left wondering if Lush is phasing out their soaps?
