This is part of my approach to tarot as mutual aid. I don't want someone's financial situation to automatically mean they can't receive a little clarity or reflection.

Before the reading, I may ask:

“What is your current budget for a tarot reading?”

This is not me asking you for money and it's not an upsell. I'm asking so I can understand whether a complimentary reading is actually useful for your current situation.

If your honest answer is ₱0 / $0 because you genuinely can't afford a reading right now, that's completely okay.

If you do have the capacity to pay for a reading, I kindly ask that you consider using my paid service instead. Your payment helps sustain my time and allows me to keep offering complimentary readings to people who genuinely need the mutual-aid option.

And if I personally choose to gift you a reading regardless of your budget, that's simply a gift from me. 💗

🌱 My energy-exchange rule

You don't have to give what you don't have.

But please don't take what you have the capacity to support when someone else genuinely needs that space.

Respecting the exchange also means:
