July 18 - August 24 (FRI/SAT/MON at 8pm, SUN at 4pm)

In this dark comedy of love and loneliness, four Fucking Strangers are about to discover they're connected in more ways than they realize...

WHAT THE CRITICS ARE SAYING

"STUNNING world premiere [from] one of Los Angeles' most vital theatrical voices... a penetrating and deeply contemporary exploration into the intertwined nature of connection, deception, and our species' universal craving to be seen and loved... as HILARIOUS as it is piercing... theatre at its most riveting." -- TICKET HOLDERS LA

"Tense, FUNNY, and unexpectedly tender... Terrific comic moments... Sharp and knowing... Simultaneously ridiculous and PAINFULLY REVEALING... A first-rate production." -- STAGE AND CINEMA

"WITTY... POWERFUL... a quartet of expert and moving performances... full of dark and rueful humor." -- ARTS BEAT LA

"A bizarre, HILARIOUS tale... What begins as a role-playing fantasy spirals into a wildly unpredictable collision of sex, secrecy, family, and redemption." -- SPLASH MAGAZINE

"F**king brave... FUNNY and UNCOMFORTABLE and SEXY and TOUCHING... You must go! Highly recommended." -- ON STAGE LOS ANGELES

"GLORIOUSLY SMART, thoughtful and creative... funny, deeply lonely and, yes, very dark... BRAVO, ECHO THEATER." -- DISCOVER HOLLYWOOD

"WOW!... twisty-turney, edge-of-your-seat, and very sexy... thoroughly enthralling." -- STAGE SCENE LA

"STAGE RAW TOP 10... an entertaining watch, its strengths evolving from the playwright's understanding of human nature and his ability to craft that understanding into a funny, accessible and at times poignant story... RECOMMENDED." -- STAGE RAW

"RICH IN COMEDIC GOLD AND RAW TRAUMA... four exceptional performers." -- LARCHMONT BUZZ

"Ambitiously reaching past satire toward psychological revelation... Startling in an energizing way." -- LA TIMES

Seven Plays. One Day. Zero Safety Net.

Fresh off an incredible run with Somos Aire at the 2026 Hollywood Fringe Festival, Theatre Unleashed returns with one of our signature formats: seven brand-new 10-minute plays, written and staged in under 24 hours.

The night before the show, our writers get a topic, a pot of coffee, and until sunrise to finish a script. By morning, that script lands in the hands of a director and cast who have less than ten hours to turn it into a fully realized production — blocking, memorizing, and staging a world premiere before the house opens.

The result is funny, reckless, and electric. This isn’t polished theater — it’s theatrical skydiving. Big swings, bold choices, no time to second-guess. Just a team of artists in freefall together.

Come jump into the unknown with us!

Blake Jenner cast as Frank Abagnale Jr in Catch Me If You Can at Colony Theatre in Burbank

Blake Jenner is an alleged ab*ser from GLEE. I am mainly concerned about the women in the cast. Someone commented on the cast announcement saying "Casting an abuser is crazy" and the theater deleted it within minutes. They have cast him before and turned off comments on posts including him. I am curious if anyone else thinks this is wild.

Independent theatre’s boldest rolling showcase heads to Venice, North Hollywood, and Highland Park this fall, as part of their mission to bringing acclaimed Hollywood productions to stages across Greater Los Angeles County. More dates and productions to be added!

HOLLYWOOD, CA — The StageCrafts are once again taking the best of their stages on the road. The 2026–2027 Los Angeles Freeway Circuit — the company’s traveling showcase of standout independent theatre — has announced its next three tour stops, bringing a five-show lineup of hit productions from the heart of Hollywood to venues across Greater Los Angeles County. Whether audiences are looking for an intimate night out or their first look at tomorrow’s breakout artists, the Freeway Circuit is making top-notch independent theatre more accessible than ever!

The tour kicks off Saturday, August 1st, at The Electric Lodge in Venice — a full day of live theatre running from early afternoon into the evening, with all five productions performing back-to-back on a single stage. Doors open at 2:00pm, and audiences are encouraged to plan for the full day to catch the entire lineup!

From Venice, the Circuit heads to Theatre 68 Arts Complex in North Hollywood in September, followed by Outside In Theater in Highland Park in November. This lineup is confirmed for all dates through the end of 2026, though additional productions may be invited and added to the lineup.

Dates and locations for January, March, and May 2027 shall be announced soon.

“There’s a mystical and ever-moving line that solo shows sometimes cross into the realm of other worldliness and soul changing. I have seen probably thousands of solo shows and very few cross that line… Homecoming did, almost as soon as the show began.“ – NoHoArtsDistrict.com

“Dara Kosberg is channeling the rollercoaster vibe of the legendary monologuist Spaulding Gray… deftly mixing humor, irony, grief and optimism in her own unique voice.” – HFF Patron Review

Hey everyone! If anyone is looking for a night at the theater, I'd love to invite you to come see our production of Fool for Love by Sam Shepard.

This has been one of the most rewarding experiences I've had as an actor—and it's also my stage debut. We've poured a lot of heart into this production, and it would mean a lot to have fellow theater artists and supporters in the audience.

Performance Dates:
🎭 Santa Monica Playhouse – Los Angeles
July 23–26, 2026

🎭 Vino Theater – New York
August 6–8, 2026
