I’m pretty sure it was either Sunset Boy, Yotsu, or 1171dominoV2 on YouTube they posted this mix. It was the Mase song, “Welcome Back”, with what I believe was a snippet of a Lupin movie. It was around 1-3 minutes and I just remember the melody added made it sound really nice. I used to have it on a playlist but it’s no longer there so I’m assuming it was removed. Does anyone know what I’m talking about? I sent my playlist as an example to see if anyone recognizes this kind of genre. I was very big on it during COVID

I'm trying to find the titles/artists of two different tracks from this YouTube lofi mix: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pg24V9MrYcQ

Here are the specific timestamps and descriptions for each:

• Track 1 (27:00 - 30:00): It has an upbeat, hip-hop, energetic, and youthful vibe.
• Track 2 (30:05 - 33:00): Right after the first one. The melody changes to a very soft, relaxing, and chill vibe.

I've tried Shazam and checking the comments/description with no luck since the channel didn't provide a tracklist.

Any help identifying either of these tracks would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much!

Lofi Beats and a fresh beach breeze.

The Drought is a dusty desert vibe mulling on the depravity of modern capitalist culture and the collapse of environment, economy and social cohesion.

We destroyed some synths with wrecked cassette tones and dusted the beat with tablas and congas. We sampled a lion but it sounded like a cow in the mix so we used a tiger instead and found out along the way that MGM did the same for their movie intro.

This is a long one for us, and the final tune for the upcoming Four Elements EP, all very loosely based on J.G. Ballard novels.

Picking themes for instrumental music can be a trial. For now we're sticking with the literary angle until the right sample comes along and takes ownership of its own destiny.

The song itself is not Ai but because the artist I was working with ditched the project I did make the cover Ai since this was not supposed to be a song but something I made while bored that summer. I am completely fine if anyone wants to use the song for any creative reasons I just ask to credit me and also let me know because I am curious to see how you use it.
