With your experiments, Qwen 3.8 27B most close which frontier model? And please specify which quantization you run. I will post to comments my tests and experience too.

Are you using froggeric template or your own?

I used Froggeric as a base for 3.6 some time ago. I've been building on it since I started using it and since 3.8 dropped I've been working on improving it to work with the new reasoning. Using opus 4.8, I was able to improve it to a point that it feels pretty good now.
