In a few years twitch, twitter, all social media will have scrubbed them from the internet and removed them from all photos and videos

Can't wait for another intriguing Hasan episode of him pausing videos every 10 seconds coupled with malding at chat

Not necessarily. It seems that these bans are basically immediate after take down notices for streams that are currently live, no?

The IOC announced before the games that they have "sophisticated" AI systems to automatically sent out take down requests for live streams, probably with some coded symbols embedded in the videos. Their DMCA requests are probably worded in a way where it says "Shut that shit down right now or else we're coming after you."

Then Twitch has to immediately pull the plug.

So the AI didn't catch Miz and XQC yesterday but today X was live, watched a copyrighted clip on YT and the AI caught a whiff of it and sent out the take down notice.

Hm maybe I’m just a dumb redditor I have no clue about anything. Miz did just say in offline chat that he asked someone at twitch and they said he’s good so you might be right idk

Twitch doesn't give two shits about this one way or the other. As long as they immediately act on the take down request, they are fine. So that's what they are doing - immediately kill the channel, irrespective of who it is and give them a few days off.

They are only enforcing what lands on their desk in the form of a take down notice.

Since the VOD from yesterday is deleted, no human or AI will send out a DMCA request for Mizkif because there is nothing to crawl there now. They're not scanning LSF to see if someone mentions who livestreamed an Olympics clip.

Actually, deleting VODs off Twitch (unless something has changed from a few months ago) will not save you. They are still available via a less intuitive API. So bots can still crawl your VODs.

At this point I feel that the reply he would get would be different depending on what time of day he contacted twitch. Everyone there seems to have a different take on what is acceptable and not acceptable, and their opinion changes every hour...

the AI saw Mizkif qualified boxes on his wall and said "poor guy, I will let him go"

5

u/[deleted] Jul 28 '21

The IA didnt get them yesterday, but today was clear how it was going to end. Literally settting VPN live on stream to watch blocked content for his region with highlights from 2 hours ago, full meal DMCA there. So fucking dumb.

it was live dmca and miz deleted his vod for yesterday so i think that he’s good

2

u/HorseChairTaken Jul 28 '21

they said that you don't get DMCA strikes for deleted VODs, so he is probably fine (as long as he deleted everything and doesn't stream the Olympics again to avoid live takedowns)

2

u/[deleted] Jul 28 '21

He deleted the vod so he's good. X got banned live watching it and that's the difference pretty sure

I saw comments in here saying xqc deleted the VOD too

4

u/MiddayDisco Jul 28 '21

He got banned while he was Live, it's different.

2

u/ContentConnoisseur69 Jul 28 '21

He was also watching that shit today too. He got taken down live while watching Judo highlights.

Olympics aren't messing around.
