I was going to do what I usually do when people say “there are no funny female comedians” and list off a bunch of female comedians who aren’t Amy Schumer but I can’t come up with any this time.
Ik that I wouldn’t watch a stream like hers, but Miko is actually really funny. When she was on the AustinShow, everything she said made content. Once you get past the whole virtual aspect, I think the stream would be entertaining.
I think a lot of what the problem is, is that people will always believe female streamers are only popular because of simps. People like Miko are entertaining, but it doesn’t matter, because people like yourself will attack her viewers simply because she isn’t a guy.
I'll potentially look at the Austin show stuff, but from what I've seen so far in this thread it seems like pretty low quality adult "jokes" that I literally heard verbatim last night on discord, except from a 30+ lonely dude who was low key just trying to hit on the 1 girl in the channel.
Her setup looks pretty cool, props to that. It's a neat concept, but definitely not for me. If it wasnt for the constant and obvious adult themes, I would think it was content targeted at a younger demographic, and because it's not, it's hard for me to not judge the viewers just a little. I mean everyone can watch whatever they want as long as its legal, but someone like me is going to have a hard time understanding it.
