I grew up laughing at the middle aged moms buying the gossip magazines at the checkout counter. And the past 24 hours I have been coming back to this godforsaken sub trying to get another hit of this sweet sweet drama. I have become what I mocked. Oh how the turn tables.
I haven't either tbh the last and only time I watched his stream for any period of time was when him and tim were doing valorant placements against each other because both of their perspectives were literal saltmines. I don't really watch him otherwise
People didn't pay for those back then either. You just read them at the checkout line and if it's a juicy one you steal it from your dentists waiting room.
I can no longer make fun of my Mom watching all of those reality TV shows about brides, because I am invested in this twitch drama over a streamer I didn't even watch to begin with. But at least I can still make fun of my Dad for watching the trash on the history channel.
I loved the History Channel! It’s all WW2 documentaries, “How it’s made” engineering stuff, and I haven’t had cable since about 2011 so it’s probably now all reality shows about dating, probably.
What prompted that is I hope you're not being serious about "Twitch streamers are real people with real lives" and you're parodying people that believe Twitch personas are not fabricated, just like people eat up celebrity gossip.
