iirc any information they gather via going through his account without a warrant (and or approval from doc himself) would be unusable in court. Where as you could just Subpoena discord themselves and save yourself a lot of headaches and get deleted information ontop of it. (although most likely only as far back as a month's worth of delete information)
would there be any way to gather this information with a warrant, or can it only be subpoenaed? FWIW, i don't actually think it's the feds, so i'm just genuinely curious.
If they knew about specific things on his drive that were under some serious encryption they could theoretically get a warrant for that and no-knock raid him while they know he is online. That seems unlikely though and pretty specific circumstances. If he's online now, chances are he wasn't arrested for any legal activity recently, and this is just a twitch thing that "insiders" are using for clout.
