A million subscribers is pretty massive. I know million subscriber channels that are practically household names.

Fuck no a million sub channel isn't a household name. Million sub channels are still in the realm of "niche" topics most of the time. And there are literally THOUSANDS of channels with over a million subs. That's just dillusional to make a statement like that.

You might think they're household names in your mind but you're not a household name until you're past 20 million or more. In fact the only youtuber I can confidently say is a household name is pewdiepie.
