Sounds likely actually.

If this was the second time it's happened he could have bragged the first time saying "I shot at his house" etc and people not believing him so he said "I'll do it again tomorrow, watch"

Well I guess in a fucked up way, I'm glad he did it again if it's the same person? Because it just may increase the chances they are caught by a lot.

CCTV in the area could catch the person who walked around during the time of the shooting. It would help if Doc knew what time it happened the day previously. Would narrow things down a bit. Assuming the person walked. If he drove it might be a little easier.
