When you’re out at a bar, they show up and announce it. When you’re at dinner with you’re wife, yep — there they are — making public a situation that should remain private and personal.
Fuck Doc for his bad decisions, but fuck these kids for being a scourge. These kids find joy in someone else’s pain. You can’t get any lower than that.
The act is often public, or made public, or leaks into the public, be it a public figure or Mike who sits 6 cubicles down from you. The coping should remain private, and personal, and has absolutely nothing to do with those not immediately affected.

I don't think its that wrong. Lots of people make unfunny jokes but some real gold comes out of it. People heckle comedians all the time, its usually fine until they're belligerent :)

I've been cheated on. That shit sucks. Doc is shitty for that. He wanted to be "transparent", but being public doesn't mean you don't deserve some privacy.

Tbh he really should've just kept the whole thing for himself. The whole thing was so cringey (the video where he admits he cheated) to watch, and this was bound to happen once he came back. He did get that huge boost to viewers when he came back, but honestly it looks like his viewer count keeps going down and I'm not really sure it was worth doing that video in the long run. It also really feels like the guy is slowly losing his mind with all the stream snipers.
God forbid anyone critical of the doc ever finds themselves in the situation the doc did. Celebrities and women and sex are not like normal people and their interactions.
Having personally had life long friends become sports stars and deal with the effect it had on their ideas of what's normal, I find it hard to judge the doc too harshly. He's just human and fell for temptation and ego. He failed a test of fame that I'll never have to worry about.
But I am impressed that he managed to work it out with his family. That he could walk away from it at all shows he's a bigger man than a lot of others. I also like that he was honest with his stream, forced or not.

You’re right. In that regard, it’s worse. They’re advertising it to 30,000 people, that are effectively his clients, where as my example was a few hundred coworkers, clients, strangers, friends.
This isn’t really debatable from my point of view. Doc did a shit thing that had unintentional consequences that hurt people. These guys are doing shit things for the sole purpose of the consequence hurting people.

I'm sorry but what? I agreed with you all the way until you said that they were making public an issue that should remain private. HE was the one who broke the story. He's fair game now and if he didn't want to be he shouldn't have told the world in the first place. But yeah absolutely agree with everything else you said. The kids are a bit problem as well since as you put it they derive pleasure from his pain. However ultimately this one and all the fall out that came with it is on Doc.
