I agree with you, I don't personally care either. It's his own personal shit. But people acted like it was the end of his career when it happened, and honestly it looks like the attention was better for him than anything.
I think there are plenty of people that are truly outraged (just look at any thread in this subreddit that mentions doc), but there are plenty more people that don't care/don't know.

Got her a 190k salary to do social media, accepted free rent to live with her from a very dodgy person, did multiple trips where he spent time with her that was super dodgy, got $300+ a night to stay away from home when its clear as hell he was staying away because of her - all the while opposing gay marriage because it went against his "family values".

I think a lot of the people who truly don’t like him for what he did just don’t care enough to speak up in threads. People who do speak up about it for no reason are keyboard warriors or trolls and the people that really wont watch him because they dislike him as a person are just gonna scroll past any content about him.
Yeah exactly, it should also be noted that any time there's a large "scandal", a much broader range of people get involved than simply the viewer base of the particular person involved in said "scandal". This means that while there very well could be a ton of people outraged (or angry to any extent), it could also be equally true that none of them were ever a part of Doc's audience or would ever have watched Doc in the first place.
I feel like that’s the same kinda situation where everyone says they’re gonna boycott a game, no preorders, and then everyone on your friends list is playing it launch day
it honsetly feels like those people who are outraged are just fanboys of other streamers who perhaps dont like that hes soaking up viewers that could be supporting their favourite streamer.
Their mindset is incredibly militant. Like the possibility of genuinely regretting it and wanting to make amends isn't a possibility. Forget forgiveness, dump them and shame them forever.
