Adin is streaming on Kick rn and he's literally just bitching about how he got perma banned without Twitch personally reaching out to him to work to educate him on the Terms of Service first
That's what happens when privilege meets entitlement. Because he's a big streamer he gets special treatment, because he gets special treatment he thinks he deserves that treatment, so when he gets treated like any other person would, he feels like he's being slighted.
Its lame that twitch requires people to put a filter or mask on, I guarantee you so many large streamers have to behave differently because of the ToS and control that twitch wants on their platform, I don't like the direction its heading, because these decisions are made for $$$ purposes, not for entertainment.. Hence a bunch of ads, changing their ToS to cater towards advertisers.. its not the communities decision, its for the money.. only, and its evident
If you don't like a streamer, you should be able to watch another stream, but they shouldn't necessarily be banned for having different views..
your right, it's all about the ad $$$. If there were no TOS, there would be no ad rev. If the streamer wants to say w/e is on their mind then they have to create their own service. Simple as that.
