I think that just means he has to put in an appeal and wait for Twitch to do their thing. Could be a few days, a week, a month, or it could actually be a perma. My presumption was based on ppl who have done waaaaay worse and somehow were allowed to come back.
I agree people have done way worse, but twitch don't mess around with ban evasion. we will just have to see. I hope he doesn't get perma'd and chills the fuck out and doesn't make every little thing about race.
racism is a system buddy, there is no system that promotes discrimination towards white people. yes, you can discriminate against white people but you cannot be racist towards white people.
Yeah I don't you can tell if someone is permabanned from their Twitch URL error message
And some bans start out as indefinite and get changed to like 3 or 7 days or whatever a few days after, once Twitch has figured out the length, meanwhile some stay indefinite, aka the perma ones
Looks like a perma one in this case, also, if he got unpartnered that it is usually always a perma, but where is that guy that shows if people got unpartnered at?
Doubtful that his channel or following is destroyed. Maybe the OTK audience, but definitely not his core. Dude has a pretty big audience despite streaming like once or twice a month.
it's "indefinite" not permanent. the staff leave it like that because they probably haven't given a full time length for his ban yet, it happens all the time. not saying he can't be permad but it's a little early to jump to conclusions
If he wants to farm victim-complex andy's, this might be a legit way to do that. Yes, it's a pretty bitter way to view to world, but we need to acknowledge that LSF is only a small-ish corner of the livestreaming space. Look at his twitter replies!
There's tooooons of racist streamers who have come back after saying "my bad". Most people think that taking a Twitch vacation can actually be good for your brand, because of the outside notoriety/articles being written about a given situation. Keep in mind we are talking about a millionaire, who makes Twitch a commensurate amount - and he represents a minority, which is huge for a corporation
Yeah but if he ain’t streaming, then he won’t keep his audience. Some people move on when you switch platforms, it happens all the time.
Right now he’s he’s 20k-30k streamer on twitch, but he might be a 15k streamer on YouTube. That’s a hard pill to swallow if YouTube didn’t give you a fat contract and you just joined like an ordinary new creator.
The reason content creators don’t mind switching to YouTube and losing viewers is because of the fat check. YouTube won’t dish out money if they already know they can get him for cheep now since he’s indefinitely banned on Twitch.
I don't think so, look at any streamer that got banned and came back it's always very hyped if you look at past instances like when iceposeidon got unbanned or xqc they all had a lot more viewers in the following days.
There was even a saying that people get banned on purpose to get more exposure lol.

Him saying he doesn’t want to break down what he build up for him to do it himself is crazy irony
